Today’s blogathon theme is haiku. The problem with haiku, and poetry in general, is that it is deceptively simple. It’s easy to slap something together that fits the rhyme and scansion, harder to write something truly good.
With that in mind, please be kind:
Blogging on money:
A tool, not a mystery.
It doesn’t grow on trees.
There. I got in nature, a cut, and the proper syllabic structure.
By the way, I didn’t understand meter at all until I had to read a whole bunch of children’s books out loud. Children’s literature is another genre that is deceptively simple.
