The Irish Pub Directory

I have a theory that every city of any size in the world has a Chinese restaurant, an Indian restaurant, an Irish bar, and a McDonald’s. Further confirmation emerged when I found The Irish Pubs Directory. A few places are missing, like the legendary Abbey Pub in Chicago (where I saw the Wolfe Tones, who sing rebel songs and not “Sunday Bloody Sunday”, and  Irish Bob’s in Youngstown, Ohio, although Irish Bob’s lacks the woodwork and charm of the stereotypical Irish pub.)

Anyway, if you find yourself going to Ghana and need a place to get a cold one, The Irish Pubs Directory will help. A warning, though: Guinness can be really expensive in some places. It was the equivalent of $10 US at the Shamrock in Chengdu.
