Paying for College: Some Miscellaneous Links

For your information, here are some different links that have more information on college admissions and finances:

Student figures out how to go to college for free. Here are some great tips on finding and applying for grants and scholarships from someone who managed to go to college for free. Yes, she had to work hard to line up the financing, but it beats waiting tables!

Twitter feeds on student debt matters. Here’s a list of 25 different Twitter feeds that track the cost of higher ed, especially student loans.

Degreeless debt. A long and sad report on what happens to student borrowers who drop out of college. The debt repayment is tough, especially because these graduates aren’t able to get good jobs to help them repay it.

2011 endowment data. In general, the richer the college, the better the financial aid.
