This year marked the release of Emerging Markets for Dummies and the second edition of Day Trading for Dummies. To celebrate, I’m going to give away a copy of one of my books.
Interested? If so, leave a comment and tell me which book you would like. (I’d love it if you’d also tell me how you found this blog and if there’s anything in particular you’d like me to write about.) Then, I’ll choose one commenter at random and send that lucky person the book of his or her choice.
Sound good? I hope so! Leave your comment by Friday, July 11, 2011 by 5:00 pm Chicago time. Winners must have a US mailing address.
Right now I’m in the middle of your first edition of Day Trading for Dummies, and I’m enjoying it. But since it is at least 4 years old, I’m curious what has change with
your second edition.
I’ve decided to trade the S&P EMinis with a $2,ooo or $3,ooo acct. I’ve narrowed it to Velocity, Apex, Mirus, or
Infinity. What I’m not sure about is what data feed, like
Zenfire, CQG, ESignal, Kinetick, or level 1 or level 2, or what platform like ninja trader, tradestation and on and on.
Guess I’m one of those dummies, so darling I would love it
if you were to send me a second edition. Since you wrote a second edition, you must of felt it was needed.
Thanks
C
Ah, but Corey, you missed the deadline!
The second edition has more material on ETFs, covers the exchange mergers, and has more detail on currency trading. It also has revised descriptions of a few equations that people found to be confusing. For your purposes, the first edition should be fine.
Good luck with it!
