My favorite app: Best Parking

2013_blogathon_badge_250px_square_sponsorToday’s blogathon assignment is to write about my five favorite apps. I’m not sure I have five favorite apps, nor do I have time to look up a bunch that look interesting. Instead, I will post about my single most favorite app, which I already wrote about for Chicago on the Cheap: Best Parking.

Yes, parking downtown is expensive, but sometimes, you have to do it. It’s even more of a hassle if you, like me, boycott the Chicago’s parking meters. That’s why there is the Best Parking app, free for iPhone and Android. Enter an address, and it tells you where the closest lots are and how much they charge. It will show you lots that you may not have known were open to the public, let alone cheap.

App developers have to work pretty hard to top that.
