Good assessment of the first half of the challenge Ann. The blogathon challenge is a great way to bring focus and organization to a person’s blogging efforts, so I’m glad to see that you’re figuring that out. I agree with you that when it comes to blogging, writing is only half the battle. It probably takes me as long to find and add an image, add a description, category and keywords as it does to write a post.

I’m so glad you’re joining us this year, hang in there, we’re on the downward slope to being done!

I agree that posting every day doesn’t feel like such a huge challenge this year. It has for me in the past, but this year I’m taking a much more laid-back approach to the Blogathon.

I also ask myself the same question about whether I’m adding value with my blog. I have a food blog and there are a million of those. My hope is that my posts will inspire others to cook or learn more about food or to think about the role food plays in their lives. That’s probably not enough to make me stand out from other food bloggers, but it’s what I’ve got right now.

Only one week left to go. Good luck!
