One of the things I love about my job is that I get to talk to people who are really excited about their jobs. Day trading is NOT for everyone, but for those who can hack it, it’s a great way to make a living.

I have the first edition of this book. Could you pls clarify what were the “few mistakes” that you rectified in the second edition and is it something that was fundamentally wrong in the first edition? Which means for a “few mistakes” of yours I will have to buy the seond one just to “know” what was the mistake.

The main mistake we corrected was in the equation for calculating return on p. 184; the equation under the square root sign should be EOP/BOP, and then you subtract one after finding the root. A few of the other errors were typos. Some explanations were clarified to make them more understandable, not because they were wrong. Also, there were several major changes in the exchanges, such as the merger of the CME and the CBOT, that were addressed. There is nothing fundamentally wrong in the first edition, unless you were trying to use that equation to calculate performance.
